Her Dad's Boss: A Billionaire Boss Obsession Page 4

I help her stand and rid her of her pesky clothing before lifting her up to perch her ass on the edge of the countertop. I don’t wait. I can’t wait. I spread her legs and shove my dick into her. She gasps and I kiss her, but that’s not enough. I need more of her. All of her.

I thrust into her and she wraps her legs around me, digging her heels into my ass and driving me deeper and deeper. I wrap my arms around her. Kiss her neck and throat. She tosses her head back and screams my name. My balls draw tight to my body and I’m close, so close. I bite her shoulder. She screams, shudders, and comes, her pussy clenching around my dick. Pulsing and throbbing with her orgasm until I succumb to ecstasy and find my release.

  Chapter Nine

  Teagan

I cry when Joshua leaves to catch his plane. I try to hide it, but he catches me anyway.

“Talk about bad timing.” He wipes away a tear that works its way down my cheeks. “I mean it’s great timing because I got to meet you, but terrible timing because I’m not ready to leave you now.”

“I feel the same way.” I sniff. “I want to know everything there is to know about you. And I want you to teach me everything there is to know about sex and orgasms and blow jobs and…”

Joshua smiles and pulls me close. “We’ll talk every day. Every. Day. The time zones might make things a little wonky, but who are we to let something as mundane as time get in the way of what we want?” He kisses my forehead. “And for the record, I fully support your sexual education and will be careful to mold my star pupil appropriately.”

He kisses my lips and time stops until he pulls away, says his goodbye, and then hops in the cab to take him to the airport. I stare after him long after the yellow car disappears from view, lost in a confusing blend of happiness, loneliness, and a certainty that things are going to be okay. The feeling is so strong that I must be going crazy. How can everything be okay when I’m falling in love with a man I just met, a man who is my dad’s boss? Oh, and said man will be gone for the next three months. Sure. Everything about that sounds totally okay, said no one ever.

As soon as I can yank my eyes off the road, I move all of my stuff out of the guest bedroom and into Joshua’s room because his scent is still on the pillows and the bedsheets and I need to be as close to him as I possibly can. My phone pings the moment I drop my suitcase on the floor.

Joshua Kincaid: Miss you already, doll face

I stare at the words, a too-wide smile stretching across my face. How is it that he can make me feel this good after just one day? I tap out a quick reply and then drop onto the bed and bury my face in his pillow to cry.

Joshua’s smiling face fills the small screen on my phone. “So, I may have bought you a few things.”

“You did?” I flop back on his bed, holding the phone above my face. “You didn’t have to do that.”

“Oh, but I did. You see, it was a compulsion. I couldn’t stop myself. I had no choice in the matter.”

  “Sounds pretty serious.”

“It is pretty serious. If this keeps up, I’ll be broke by the time I get back to you.”

I sit up. “Joshua! How much did you spend on me?”

“Not enough, doll face. Not enough.” He shakes his head. “But things should start arriving tomorrow.”

“Wow. Not only do I get to spend the summer drinking a billionaire’s expensive scotch at his private ranch, but I also get gifts? Talk about spoiled.” I sigh. “Add in the mind-blowing sex and no man will ever live up to you for the rest of my life. Once you go Joshua Kincaid, you never go back.”

Joshua’s eyes darken. “Maybe that’s exactly what I’m going for.” The intensity in his voice sends a surge of throbbing need between my legs.

“You sure do know how to turn me on.” I take a deep breath and let it out slowly. What good is it if the man can turn me on when he’s halfway across the world?

“Gifts and possessiveness does it for you, huh?”

“Well the gifts don’t hurt. And the possessiveness is definitely hot. But right now, it was the look in your eyes and the sound of your voice that did it for me.”

Joshua’s gaze goes primal. “Are you wet?”

“Maybe.” I shift, widening my legs.

“I’m not in the market for maybies. Stick your finger down there and tell me what you find.”

I was already wet, no doubt about that, but that domineering command just sealed the deal. I slip a hand into my panties and moan. “I’m wet.”

“Show me. Show me how wet you are.”

I hold my glistening finger up to the camera.

“I wish I could lick it clean.” Joshua shifts the phone in his hand and I hear the sound of his zipper.

“I wish you could, too, but I guess I’ll have to do it for you.” I slide my finger into my mouth and suck, tasting myself for the first time.

“Shit, Tea.” Joshua’s voice thickens with lust. “I’m so hard for you right now. I want you to sit on this cock and let me drive you wild.”

“Oh yeah? Why don’t you show me?” I shift again, slipping my hand back into my panties and gliding my fingers across my clit.

Joshua props his phone up on something and then stands, pulls his pants and boxers down and lo and behold, there it is. The most magnificent cock I have ever seen attached to the most magnificent man I have ever met. He takes himself in his hand and pumps, a low growl sounding in the back of his throat. I follow his lead and prop my phone up so he has a view of my whole body before I get naked and stretch out in bed. I finger myself while he jacks off, and when he comes, I do, too, his name on repeat on my lips and in my heart.

  Chapter Ten

  Teagan

“Earth to Teagan. Come in Teagan.” Lola leans in close and studies my face. “You did that thing again where you just kind of go away.” She waves a hand through the air. “I know you’re busy pining over Joshua, but at this point, I think you talk to him more than you talk to me.”

“Sorry, Lo.” I turn a unicorn figurine over in my hands before setting it down on the table next to the box it came in. “I just can’t help myself. I miss him so much.”

“Yeah, well, since the all-powerful Mr. Kincaid gave me permission to hang out with you for the rest of this summer and drink his super duper expensive scotch, I think maybe you should tune back into the here and now, you know?” She picks up the figurine. “What’s with all the unicorns, anyway. Does he have some kind of little girl fetish?”

“God, no.” I roll my eyes. “It’s an inside joke.”

“I’m just saying, it’s starting to look like my room at my parents’ house in here.” She makes a show of looking around at all the unicorn-themed gifts Joshua has sent me over the last few weeks.

“I think it’s really sweet.” I run a finger over the pendant he sent me yesterday.

“Of course you do. You think everything he does is really sweet.”

  “That’s because it is.”

Lola sighs dreamily. “Yeah. You’re right. It is. I can’t believe he sends you gifts every day. And not just all the unicorn shit either. The purses. The lingerie. The clothes.” Lola rests her chin on her hands. “It’s like Cinderella meets Pretty Woman meets…”

  “Meet the Parents?”

Lola cringes. “Yeah. About that. What exactly are you going to tell your parents?”

“I have no idea. Can you imagine how well that particular conversation will go?”

“You mean the conversation where you tell your dad that you’re fucking his boss?”

  “Yeah. That one.”

“Nope.” Lola grabs the bubble wrap off the table and starts going to town. “Although, your parents are pretty easygoing…” She breaks into laughter. “I can’t even finish that statement with a straight face. There’s nothing easygoing about Mr. and Mrs. Flowers, especially when it comes to their precious Teagan.”

My stomach drops. If only shew knew just how bad things really are. The news I have for my parents is so much bi
gger than me losing my virginity to my dad’s boss. “It gets worse, Lo.”

She raises her eyebrows. “How can it possibly get worse?”

I stare at my best friend for a long time, trying to get the words to come out of my mouth. Imagine our mutual surprise when I stay silent.

Lola puts the bubble wrap down on the table. “You’re freaking me out here, Tea. When does your brain ever work before your mouth?”

I take a long breath and let it out slowly. “I’m pregnant.” A little shiver of excitement works its way up my spine. I’ve been saying those words in my head for the last three days and I know they’re supposed to terrify me, but they don’t. Not even a little.

Lola hits me on the arm, her jaw dropped. “Shut. Up. How?”

“What do you mean, how? When a man and a woman have feelings for each other, the man puts his penis in her vagina—”

Lola hits me again. “I know how, you goober. But what I mean is how? Didn’t you use protection?”

I shake my head. “I’m not on the pill and we didn’t use a condom.”

Lola stares at me like I’m the biggest idiot she’s ever seen. “I can’t even process that, Tea. How is that even possible? Especially for you?”

I shrug, flaring my hands. “I really don’t know. It’s so out of character for me but … we just got so caught up in the moment that I mean … I didn’t even think about it. I couldn’t think about anything more than what he was doing to me and how good it felt.”

Lola shakes her head. “Holy shit, Tea. This is the very last thing I ever thought would happen. In fact, if I’m being honest, I always assumed the situation would be reversed when we had this conversation.”

  “Me, too, Lo. Me, too.”

We sit in silence for a few long minutes while Lola processes what I’ve told her and I try to understand why I feel so damn excited instead of terrified.

“What did Joshua say?” Lola swipes the bubble wrap off the table again.

  I bite my lip.

Lola’s jaw drops. “Tea? What did Joshua say?” She speaks as if she’s talking to a child having a difficult time understanding a simple set of directions.

I look at my hands folded neatly in my lap.

“Are you kidding me right now? You didn’t tell him?” Lola sits back in the chair, shaking her head. “I don’t even know who you are right now.”

“I mean, I just found out a few days ago…”

“Teagan. You have to tell him.”

“I know, but I just can’t figure out how. And telling him over the phone or Facetime or something like that just feels so impersonal…”

“So, you’re just going to wait until he comes home? When you’ll be, what? Three months pregnant with his child? Don’t you think that’s kind of low?”

I hang my head. “I’m not really going to do that. I’ll tell him. He deserves to know. To have a choice in what happens next.”

Lola nods as she lets out a long breath. “There’s the Teagan I know and love. I knew you were in there somewhere.”

I pick up the unicorn figurine from the table and run my finger along the smooth porcelain. “When I don’t think about it too hard, when I just follow my heart and soul instead of worrying about what everyone else will think, I’m kind of excited.”

  “Are you?”

I bob my head. “I am. I know it sounds crazy. I mean, I spent one day with him…”

“And every night since for the past month.”

  I can’t help but smile.

“That’s enough time to fall in love, Tea.”

  “Is it?”

“I don’t know, take a second and check in on how you feel about the guy.” She raises her eyebrows and waits for me to process. “And now, let me ask you. Is that enough time to fall in love?”

“It is.” I sigh. “I think I fell in love with him the moment I saw him.”

Lola stares at me for a long moment. “Holy shit, Teagan! You’re going to have a fucking baby!”

I fold my hands over my stomach as a jolt of love surges through me for the tiny life inside me and the man who helped make her.

“Oh, Teagan.” Lola smiles and takes my hands. “Your dad is going to kill you.”

  Chapter Eleven

  Joshua

It’s been one hell of a day. If something could go wrong, it did. Spectacularly. My alarm didn’t go off, so I spent the entire morning racing the clock only to spill my coffee on a brand-new shirt and tie. The hours and hours of meetings were nothing more than a bunch of people digging in their heels and being stubborn about getting what they want instead of working together to do what’s best for the negotiations and merger. Lunch was gross. Dinner was worse. The only saving grace of the entire day was knowing that I could come back to my hotel at the end of it all and spend the rest of the night chatting with Teagan. That woman is a bright spot on the best of days. After the way today has gone, I’m craving her warmth the way an addict craves his next hit.

I slide my jacket off my shoulders and down my arms before draping it over the back of a chair. Typically, I’d stretch out in bed for our conversation, but I’m too keyed up to be that still. I prop my iPad up on the desk, pour myself a glass of scotch, and take a seat in the plush leather chair before initiating a call to Teagan. She answers quickly.

“There’s my beautiful girl.” And just like that, the troubles of the day fade away.

“Hey, you.” Teagan smiles, but her eyes are troubled.

Well, hell. So much for the fade to black on the anxiety. “Uh-oh.” I cock my head to the side. “What’s wrong?”

Teagan chews on her bottom lip and doesn’t answer immediately. It’s never a good sign when she’s quiet. When my unfiltered girl is trying to filter, it can only mean that something’s wrong. I take a small sip of my scotch and put the glass down, anxiety churning back to life in my stomach.

“So,” she begins. “I have something I have to tell you and it’s kind of messed up and I’m really afraid that it’s going to freak you out and I swear I didn’t do it on purpose.” Her eyes go wide. “Oh shit, I just realized that it’s going to look like I did this on purpose and … oh, God …”

“Teagan.” I’d put a finger to her lips if I could, but I can’t, so I just lean in close to the camera. “Hush now, doll face. Instead of worrying about how I’m going to take it, why don’t you just go ahead and tell me what’s happened, okay?” A dozen possible problems dance through my mind. Did she break something? Ruin the pool? Did her friend invite a bunch of people over for a party and they’ve trashed the place?

Teagan swallows hard. “Joshua… I’m…” She trails off.

  “What is it, beautiful?”

“I’m pregnant.” She smiles, just a flash of beauty before worry swallows it up.

The entire world freezes and time stops. Pregnant? The word echoes in my mind.

Teagan nods. “Yeah,” she says and I realize I spoke the word out loud.

I let the thought spin around my head before it spirals down to my heart and sets my soul on fire. “You’re pregnant? With my baby?”

Teagan nods again. “Yeah. I’m so sorry Joshua…”

“Don’t you dare apologize.” I stand, too excited to sit still. “You’re pregnant?” I ask, leaning my hands on the table and staring at her face on my iPad.

“Yeah.” A slow smile spreads across her face. “You’re not mad?”

I drop into my chair, arms folded on the desk. “Mad? How could I be mad? The woman I love is carrying my child? How in the world could I be anything but ecstatic?”

“Because I’m too young. Because we barely know each other. Because you don’t want kids…” She trails off. “Wait. You love me?” Tears fill her eyes.

“Without a doubt. I fell in love with you that very first day and each day since has only made me fall deeper in love with you.”

“I love you, too. And from the first day. The first moment. And I should be terrified to be pregnant but I’
m not. I’m ecstatic.”

“Damn it. Why am I here and you’re there? I need to hug you. To put my hands on your stomach and kiss you all over. I need to feel you, to celebrate this with you. I can’t be here while you’re there. It was bad enough before, but now?” I stand up again, carrying the iPad with me this time. “You’re pregnant? For real?”

“For real.” Teagan beams. “I was so afraid you’d be upset. It’s ridiculous that I’m so happy. I mean, I haven’t even graduated from college yet. I’m supposed to come rocketing out of my senior year with top honors so I’m totally marketable in the business world. But now, all I want to do is pour my heart into raising this baby. Does that make me tedious and weak?”

“Tedious and weak? Teagan. No. Not at all. Raising children is the most important thing a couple can do. I’ve wanted a family for so long. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked into your dad’s office and stared at the pictures of you and your mom and wished I could be as lucky as he is. I made a choice early on to focus on my career and thought that meant I would have to sacrifice family. That I would be married to my job and the corporation would be my legacy. But now…? Here I am, listening to the woman I love telling me she loves me, too. That she wants to raise my child? Oh Teagan. I thought this day was the worst day in a long time but it’s turned out to be the best day of my life.”

“That makes me so happy, Joshua.” Teagan smiles and then scrunches up her nose, making those perfectly adorable freckles of hers dance. “I haven’t told my parents yet. I don’t know how to drop this one on them and I definitely didn’t want to do it without talking to you first.”

“Don’t you worry about a thing, baby doll. I’ll take care of everything. Just let me think on it a few days.”

  “I love you so much.”

Her words stop me in my tracks. “Say it again.”

  “I love you so much.”
